Applications are open to graduates of musicology or related disciplines with their master’s or doctoral thesis completed between 2020 and 2022, as well as scholars with equivalent research work. The deadline for applications is 30 November 2022.
The International Handel Research Prize is sponsored by the Foundation of the Saalesparkasse.
It is valued at €2000 and entails the presentation of a paper to be read by the prize winner at the scholarly conference to be held during the annual Handel Festival in Halle an der Saale (30–31 May 2023).
